Mennonite Man Just Happens to Find Unattended Amazon Packages on Front Doorsteps All Over Town

VEBRÄATJATHAL, MB

Mr. Vebräatja, 47, of Vebräatjathal, Manitoba considers himself the luckiest Mennonite in the region after discovering dozens of unattended Amazon packages on front door steps all over town this weekend.

Waut de hunt is this?” wondered Mr. Vebräatja, approaching the Penner residence. “Looks like the Penners have left this package here for anyone to just take. Thanks, Pennas!”

Mr. Vebräatja proceeded to walk down the block looking for Amazon packages that local residents had left out for him.

“This community sure is generous,” said Mr. Vebräatja. “I mean, sure, I don’t really need a Zwilling 5-piece manicure kit, but if the Penners are offering, I’ll take it.”

Mr. Vebräatja claims he was gifted close to thirty packages this weekend, though he plans to donate all the Veggie Tales DVDs to the MCC.

“It’s just one way of giving back to the community,” he said. “I’m paying it forward.”

Mr. Vebräatja plans to “pay it forward” all up and down Klassen Ave. this week.
